• February 19, 2009. Added link to Wayne and Chris's blog .
• November 30, 2007. Added link to Nicole's new website.
• January 11, 2006. Added Xmas card photos for 2003-2005. Added link to Wayne's running page.
• February 18, 2002. Added some great new photos of Michelle, taken by John Weller.
• September 5, 2001. Deleted various dead links and made other minor updates. Deleted the search engine on the main page and the main fossil page. The host has not updated the search database, despite repeated requests, so it was becoming less useful.
• May 26, 2001. Numerous updates, including a link to Nicole's new website, where you can see some of the newspaper articles she has written, a picture of Michelle's project at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, a wedding picture of Wayne's maternal grandparents, and a picture of three generations of Itanos at the Itano monument in Japan.
• September 10, 2000. Concluded a major update to Wayne's page, including a pictorial autobiography. See the links at the bottom of the page. Added a search engine near the top of the main page.
• September 5, 2000. Updated the personal pages for Michelle, Nicole, Chris, and Wayne. You might want to see the pictures of Michelle playing with a porpoise in Cancun and Nicole's Yale graduation pictures.
• September 2, 2000. Decided the hit counters weren't useful and removed them, since they sometimes slowed down the page loading. Added the 1999 holiday greeting card.
• April 20, 2000. Added hit counters to main page and to the main fossil collection page.
• January 2000. Moved entire website to a new server and registered the itano.net domain. Home page is now www.itano.net .
• October 16, 1999. Completed updates to fossil pages, mostly additional references and corrections to external links.
• October 13, 1999. Minor updates and corrections to Nicole and Michelle's pages.
• December 24, 1998. Minor update. Added 1998 holiday greeting card and photos of Nicole's first fish.
• August 15, 1998. Major update. Added 1997 holiday photo, a link to a search engine which provides a list of links to Nicole's articles in the Yale Daily News, several new pictures on Michelle's page, several new pet pictures, new section on the Itano monument at Fukutani, several additions to the history section, and a new section with miscellaneous photos.
• October 13, 1997. Added to the Family History section a letter describing Harvey Itano's release from a World War II relocation center to go to medical school in St. Louis.
• August 24, 1997. Changed the style of the Maryland Miocene fossil section for quicker browsing. Small images are given with the descriptions of the specimens at first. To see a larger image, click on the small image. The entire fossil section will eventually be redone in this style.
• August 19, 1997. Entire family portion of website updated. Added an archive of the holiday greeting card photos from 1983 through 1996. Added a nice article reprinted from the local newspaper about Michelle's early fascination with factories (1989). Added several photos to the family history section. Added new sections on our pets and Comet Hale-Bopp.
• February 23,1997. Updated various external links that had changed. Added links to Michelle's school and Wayne's research group at NIST.
• November 3, 1996. Newspaper article about Nicole from the Rocky Mountain Jiho.
