Chaffee Formation (Colorado Devonian)

These fossils were found in Glenwood Canyon in Garfield County, Colorado. They are from the Dyer Dolomite Member of the Chaffee Formation, a richly fossiliferous Upper Devonian marine formation. My main reference for fossil identification was John Chronic, "Early and Middle Paleozoic Index Fossils of Colorado," in Symposium on Lower and Middle Paleozoic Rocks of Colorado, R. R. Berg and J. W. Rold, Eds. (Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, Denver, CO, 1961), pp. 91 - 100. All of the specimens shown appeared very similar to ones shown in Plate 2 of that article. This is the only reason that I am being so specific about the identifications.
